Founder and Principal Designer
Award winning designer, Kathleen “Tath” Hossfeld, literally grew up designing homes at her father’s drafting board in his architectural-engineering firm in Hollywood, California. Tath presented her first floor plan of a home to her father at the age of ten. Her undergraduate studies, as a design major, were at Northern Arizona University. Tath completed her studies at the Interior Designer’s Guild, in Newport Beach California and Bellevue, Washington. Upon graduation she was hired as an in-house designer for Mortimer-Kahn Associates (Seattle, Washington and Berkeley, California).
In 1981 she founded her own firm of Tath Hossfeld Designs. As a member of the National Kitchen and Bath Association, Tath has been published in national and international magazines. Her interviews concerning design work have appeared in Sunset Magazine, The Everett Herald, The King County Journal and The Seattle Times.
Married for over 40 years, Tath is the proud mother of an Army Colonel who is the father of her 2 beautiful granddaughters. In her “free time” she has walked over 9,000 miles raising funds for Breast Cancer and plans to continue her trek until a cure can be found.
